This harness only works with regular factory audio systems- Not compatible premium amplified systems- if the factory audio system is the external amplified type like Bose, etc then this harness is not compatible. | Some radios will require the inside of the radio kit to be sanded/filed to make the opening a little bigger- that's normal stuff especially if the radio is an off-brand since they sometimes don't design their radios by standard Din specs. | Will not retain warning chimes. If the vehicle has delayed radio turn off like when the radio still works until you open the door then this harness might not retain that feature unless you run the ignition wire to connection that will have that delayed trigger. Will not retain some features that go through the radio like warning chimes, OnStar, rear dvd, steering audio controls, etc.- other adapters are needed for retention.
