Cleaning your records can be an arduous process... but it doesn't have to be! Most methods require action on your part prior to dropping the stylus in the groove. Sweep it E, on the other hand, clears dust from the stylus' path as you listen! Removing superficial dust & debris improves sound quality as well as record & stylus longevity. Simply position the weighted platform of Sweep it E on your turntable's plinth such that the arm reaches over the record, preceding the position of the stylus as it tracks. The bristles will actually track the record grooves, removing dust & debris while doing so - before it even has the chance to affect audio playback. Sweep it E is precision-machined from aluminum and durably made in Europe. It includes a heavy base to easily support the mass of the extended arm. The bottom of the base is felted to protect the finish of your turntable. The arm pivots free of friction on a single spike, carefully calibrated to get deep into the grooves without affecting platter speed and while adding zero resonance to the equation. The goat hair bristles are both thorough & gentle on the grooves. The whole assembly can be easily removed when not needed and can be added back in a second. Keep in mind the position of the base will vary based on your turntable's layout, also that more than one position may work!
